The Southland girls basketball team beat Saint Charles (1-3 overall, 1-3 Three Rivers) 58-53 in overtime on the road Friday.

Southland (1-1 overall, 1-1 Three Rivers forced the overtime period when Larissa Goslee, who had 16 points, made two free throws with under a second left in regulation.
