The Austin girls hockey team lost its season opener to Rochester John Marshall by a score of 6-4 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Jordyn McCormack and Kate Holtz each had two goals in the loss for the Packers (0-1 overall, 0-1 Big Nine).
