El Patron donates $2K to APD and AFD

The Austin Police and Fire Departments were the recipients of a $2,000-each donation from El Patron owner Eduardo Angel.
Angel, along with El Patron manager Maripaz Martinez, presented a check to the Austin Police Department Tuesday morning at the Mower County Law Enforcement Center.
Martinez said the donations were part of El Patron’s desire to give in light of the holiday season.
“We believe it’s very important to give back to the community,” she said.
El Patron also gave away several free turkeys last week.
