The Austin Bruins beat the Minnesota Magicians (4-7-3-2 overall) 2-1 in a shootout on the road Friday night.

The shootout took six shooters for each team and Dante Sheriff scored the game-winner for the Bruins after Ben Almquist had scored the first goal of the shootout for Austin.

Jaxon Friedman stopped 26 shots in regulation for Austin (7-6-1-2 overall) and he stopped five of six shots in the shootout.
