Wilderness slide past Bruins in a shootout

The Austin Bruins had their four-game winning streak snapped when they lost to the Minnesota Wilderness (6-3 overall) 3-2 in overtime on the road Thursday.
Austin (5-2-0-2 overall) went 0-for-4 in the shootout and Zach Michaelis scored the game-winner for the Wilderness on their fourth attempt.
The Bruins held a 2-0 lead through two periods, but Kimball Johnson and Nate Horn each scored in the third period for the Wilderness to force the extra session.
Jaxon Friedman had 21 saves for Austin.
