The No. 2 seeded Grand Meadow football team took down No. 3 Spring Grove (7-3 overall) 24-14 in the Section Nine Man semifinals in GM Saturday.
Drew Copley gave the Superlarks (9-1 overall) the lead for good with a four-yard TD run that made it 17-14 with 7:23 left in the game.

Daniel Smith plunged in for a four-yard TD to give GM a 24-14 lead with 1:34 left in the game.
Nolan Skifter had given GM a 9-0 lead with a one-yard TD run in the first quarter.
GM will take on No. 5 Houston in the Section 1 Nine Man Tournament title game at 7 p.m. Friday in Austin.
