“We’re thrilled to have Jeff Anderson from Anderson Memorials sharing the history of a local business that his family founded in 1870,” said MCHS Executive Director Randal Forster. “It truly is amazing to learn about a business that is over a century old. This special presentation will give visitors an opportunity to hear from someone first hand who has extensive knowledge about the business as well as his family.”

The Historical Society is proud to have Mayo Clinic Health System – Austin and Albert Lea as its official sponsor for the 2019 Lunchbox History Series. They encourage everyone to “bring your lunch and bring a friend” to learn about history in a relaxing environment during the middle of the day.
