The Hayfield volleyball team took it to the limit in its season opener but it couldn’t close things out as Fillmore Central seized the last two games to beat Hayfield 25-23, 19-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-11 in Harmony Thursday.

The Falcons (1-0 overall) scored the last six points of the fifth game to win.
