Douglas A. Belden, 55, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus-Rochester.

Doug was born on Aug. 27, 1963, to Jerry and Annette Belden. He graduated from Pacelli High School in Austin. In his spare time, Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors, especially in the warm California weather.

He spent the last few months of his life in the hospital surrounded by family, telling jokes and reminiscing about “the good times.”

Doug is survived by his four children, Desahna, Nathan, Beth and Cady Belden; his grandchildren, Ryan, Rachael, Ayyanna and Gabrielle; and his good friend, Janine Bartlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Annette Belden; and his favorite uncle, Tim Heimsness.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at Calvary Cemetery. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
