Donna J. Mullenbach, 83, of Adams, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at the Adams Health Care Center.

Donna Jean was born June 2, 1936, in Austin, Minnesota, one of 16 children of Charles and Mary (Gallagher) Graves. Donna grew up in Austin and attended Austin Central High School. On Oct. 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Elmer Daniel Mullenbach at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin.

Donna and Elmer raised their family and resided on their farm near Johnsburg, Minnesota. They moved off the farm and into Adams in 1996. Over the years, Donna worked in retail and later at the Sacred Heart School cafeteria in Adams.  She enjoyed camping with her family and friends, watching the Minnesota Twins with her husband, crocheting, canning, baking, collecting bird figurines and antique dolls, and listening to Elvis Presley. Donna was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams and a former member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg.

She loved laughing with her children and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Donna treasured the times when her daughters would have sleepovers to play cards and games and early morning shopping the day after Thanksgiving.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Darwin Mullenbach; great-grandsons, Owen Turner and Westin Eischens; and her brothers and sisters. Donna is survived by her husband, Elmer of Adams; children, Cindy Mullenbach of Stewartville, Minnesota, Brad (Gayle) Mullenbach of Austin, Delmar (Nancy) Mullenbach of Owatonna, Minnesota, Nancy (Butch) Eischens of Dodge Center, Minnesota, Scott Mullenbach of Adams, Mary (Glenn) Nichols of Chatfield, Minnesota, Dave Mullenbach of Spring Valley, Minnesota, Beverly (Jim) Salisbury of Stewartville and Janice (Steve) Eischens of Taopi, Minnesota; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams with Father Swaminatha Pothireddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with a 4 p.m. Rosary, on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at the Adams Funeral Home and will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
