Swift summer still features plenty of traveling

This summer seems to be passing us by, but we are still taking advantage of many opportunities for fun times and fellowship.

On Wednesday we will be watching “Mamma Mia”  at the Chanhasssen Dinner Theater.

We will be departing at 9 a.m. from the Walmart parking lot. With two buses that day, please make certain that you know which bus you are scheduled to ride.  If still interested you may want to check to see if there are late cancellations.  Call our travel number at 1-507-438-3846.

This production is hugely popular this year.

Our summer has also seen us visiting the Austrian Lady in Iowa. She continues to delight our group with her fabulous meal, her unique Austrian style home, and her presentation of her life after leaving Austria.

“Lush Country” at the Ives Theater in Bloomington, Minnesota, was our next outing. We started off our day with a barbecue buffet was a real summer-like treat. There was country music, with a seven piece band and vocal entertainers singing country music at its best.

July had us boarding the airplane for the long-awaited trip to the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

It was our good-fortune to experience such great weather for all the sites we visited. We will be sharing our tour through these beautiful areas soon.
