Along with the other changes that happen as we get older, changes in sleep patterns are part of the aging process. At 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dr. Kubas will be here from the Mayo Clinic to enlighten us and answer questions about sleep.

It is normal as we age to have a harder time falling asleep and more trouble staying asleep than when we were younger. Although it is a common belief that we need less sleep as we age, in fact our sleep needs are consistent throughout adulthood.

Dr. Kubas specializes in sleep medicine for southeastern Minnesota. If you have questions about sleep and this class interests you, you’re welcome to join us.

Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents.
