Georgena May Linbo, 70, of Hayfield, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester, Minnesota.

Georgena was born on Sept. 10, 1948, the daughter of George and Irene (DesCombaz) Norman in Austin, Minnesota. She graduated from Austin High School in 1966 and went to Cosmetology School in Austin. She was united in marriage to Kevin Linbo on June 13, 1981.

Georgena did daycare in her home for over 25 years. She enjoyed going to their cabin at Shell Lake, Wisconsin, and spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family.

Georgena is survived by her husband, Kevin Linbo, Hayfield; children, Gretchen Linbo (Jeff) Becker, Garrison and Maxwell, Dodge Center, Minnesota, and Katie Linbo (Brian) Coleman, Abe and Iris, Kasson, Minnesota; sisters, Judy Norman Low, Franklin, Kentucky, Kathy Norman Berg, New Richland, Minnesota, and Mary Ann Norman Schlaak, New Richland; 22 nephews and nieces; 59 great-nephews and nieces; and three great-great-nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Norman; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Roy Dyke; brother-in-law, Stan Berg; father and mother-in-law, John and LaVine Linbo; and brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Cindy Linbo.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 660th Ave., Sargeant, MN 55973, with the Rev. Paul Welke officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 Second St. NW, Hayfield, MN 55940, with a sharing of memories at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.
