The Austin track and field team had three big time performances at the Section 1AA meet in Lakeville South Saturday.

Three Packer athletes clinched their first ever trip to the state meet as Taige Iverson took first in the 100-meter hurdles, Dongrin Deng took first in long jump and Oliver Andersen took second in discus.

Iverson took .6 of a second off of her preliminary time to set a new AHS school record of 15.02 seconds. The previous school record was set by Rachel Quandt in 2016.
