The Austin track and field team had two athletes qualify for Saturday’s finals at the Section 1AA preliminaries in Lakeville South Thursday.

Taige Iverson reached the finals in the 100-meter hurdles by taking third and Josh Belden reached the finals in the 400-meter dash by taking ninth.

Thomas Kroymann took fourth in the shot put finals for Austin, Henry Hinchcliffe took sixth in the 3,200-meter run finals and Abby Lewis took seventh in the 3,200-meter finals.
