Busy day for the senior center on Tuesday

Published 9:34 am Saturday, May 4, 2019

Tuesday is a very busy day here at the center. Come in at 11:30 a.m. and have hotdish in the coffee shop. At 1 p.m. you can sit in on the seminar “A Smooth Move” to learn tips on downsizing.

Kimberly, owner of A Smooth Move in Austin and Rochester, will share insights on this critical phase of life. This fun and interactive presentation tackles how to plan for a move. Join us to get ideas on what to keep in a move and how to make the new space work well for you. We’ll consider layout planning and design tips, as well as pitfalls to avoid when you move.

“Most of our clients have not moved in 30 years or more and need to considerably reduce their possessions in order to resettle,” Kimberly said.  While the task can seem overwhelming, the team at A Smooth Move has successfully helped countless families navigate this stressful time over the past 12 years.
