Three new shows added to Minnesota State Fair lineup

Three new shows havebeen added to the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Concert Series.

At 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 Why Don’t We will be on stage, Trace Adkins and Clint Black with special guest Terri Clark will play at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 25, part of the Hits, Hats. History. Tour and then at 7 p.m. on Aug. 26 Tommy James and the Shondells bring their Happy Together Tour to the state fair.

The YouTube sensation Why Don’t We consists of Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron and have generated more than 300 million YouTube views as well as an additional 200 million Spotify streams. Tickets are $38 and $28 for all reserved seating.

Clint Black, Trace Adkins and Terri Clark are world-reknown country singers, putting their award-winning talents together for their Hits, Hats. History. Tour. Tickets for this show are $41 and $31 for all reserved seating.

And take a step back in time for Tommy James and the Shondells who produced such hits as “Crimson and Clover” and “Mony, Mony.” Tickets are $31 for all reserved seating.

 The following 2019 Grandstand shows have already been announced: Hootie & the Blowfish: Group Therapy Tour with special guest Barenaked Ladies (Thursday, Aug. 22); “Weird Al” Yankovic Strings Attached Tour(Tuesday, Aug. 27); Daryl Hall & John Oates with special guest G. Love & Special Sauce (Wednesday, Aug. 28); Lionel Richie (Friday, Aug. 30); The Current’s Music On-A-Stick featuring Brandi Carlile with special guests Mavis Staples and Savannah Conley (Saturday, Aug. 31) and MSF Amateur Talent Contest Finals(Sunday, Sept. 1). Additional Grandstand artists will be announced periodically between now and this year’s fair.
