Alice K. Williams, 88, of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus-Rochester.

Alice was born March 23, 1931, in Sargeant, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Ragnhild (Neshium) Simonson. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1949.

Alice married Donald Williams on March 15, 1953, in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. They lived in Austin, where she worked for Hormel Foods for many years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping and fishing but most of all, Alice enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald, in 2011; son, Dan; granddaughter, Emily Williams; and sisters, Esther Wiese, Gloria Jacobson and Ruby Klingfus.

Alice is survived by her children, Duane (Mary Lynn) Williams, Virginia, Minnesota, Diane (Denny) Hruby, LeCenter, Minnesota, and Debbie (Randy) Miller, Austin; daughter-in-law, Judy (Gary Athey) Williams, Elysian, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Derrek) Olson, Scott (Tina) Miller, Melissa (Rob) Janasak, Abby (Brett) Hovey, Nick (Ciara) Miller, Ben (Cassandra) Williams and Jed (Jolene) Williams; 16 great-grandchildren, Emelyn, Henry, Grace, Susan, Cody, Cole, Keegan, Ayla, Carter, Tyler, Megan, Elijah, Heaven, Hailey, Elsie, Emma, and another three on the way; two great-great-grandchildren, Silas and Daxton; brothers, Jake Simonson, Owatonna, Minnesota, and Milward (Donna) Simonson, Hayfield, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Bob Hahn, Albert Lea, Minnesota; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Gemechu Olana officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Thursday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
