LaRaye K. Anderson, 79

LaRaye K. Anderson, 79, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, was called home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. This was a call she did not want to miss or ignore as her ultimate goal in life has been leading up to this. What a glorious day this was for her to see her Lord and Savior face-to-face. We can only imagine Lori and Bandit waiting at the gate for her ready to show her around. Now she can walk, run, and skip without any effort and is able to breathe deep the beautiful heavenly air.

LaRaye entered this world on Feb. 19, 1940, just minutes behind her twin sister. They were born on the family farm in Lyle, Minnesota, to Otto and Hazel Lomholt. She graduated from Lyle High School in June of 1958. LaRaye loved her grandkids with all her heart, spending time with them through the years. Attending their many special events filled her heart with joy and made her smile.

LaRaye is survived by her twin sister, LaRayne (Mimi) Jochumsen; sister, LaFerne Mangon; children, LuAnn (Doug Anderson) Lechnir, Todd (Marcie) Anderson and Lisa Anderson; grandchildren, Kristin Slowinski, Nicholas (Stacy) Slowinski, Brandon (Shannon) Slowinski, Christopher (Erin) Jandebeur, Tavar (Courtney Tickel) Parker, Nikki (Mike) Olsen, Ashley (Brady) Engleby, Ty (fiancée, Lilia Almazan) Anderson and Jordan (Patrick) Bertelsen; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Maddison, Abe, Ella, Kassidy, Daniel, Benjamin, Logan, Ledger, McKinlee, Dominic and Jaxon; former husband, LaVern Anderson; and sister-in-law, Shirley Stundahl.
