260 grams of meth seized in raid; Worth over $6K on streets

One individual was arrested after police allegedly found methamphetamine in his Austin residence on Wednesday.
According to Austin Police Chief David McKichan, members of the Austin Police Department, Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at about 10 a.m. on Wednesday on a residence in the 500 block of Seventh Avenue Southeast. Officers recovered approximately 260 grams of methamphetamine, worth an estimated $6.500 on the street, and $7,000 in cash.
Luis Prado-Acosta, 46, of Austin was arrested at the residence and is facing a possible charge of felony first-degree drug possession.
