Pacelli Preschool Teachers

While another Christmas holiday has come and gone, the season of giving is always upon us. Pacelli Preschool spent the month of December selling dog and cat treat bags to their family and friends. Preschool teachers Robyn Bickler and Arie Anderson chose this service project to raise funds for the Mower County Humane Society.

While raising money for a special cause, the students were also able to grasp the concept of giving during the Christmas season as well as work on their counting, sorting, and organizing skills.

After all orders were placed, the preschoolers assisted to collect, count out, and distribute the treat bags to some fortunate furry friends. On Jan. 25, Barry Rush graciously visited Pacelli Catholic Schools to personally accept our donation. The students proudly presented a check for over $450, along with an abundance of dog and cat treats, to help the animals in need.

Classes are from 8:30-11 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m.  Shamrock Zone child care is also available right across the hall if you are looking for a full-day option.  Shamrock Zone child care is open from 6:30 a.m.  to  6 p.m. Registration for the 2019-2020 school year begins for Pacelli families on Feb. 14 and for those new to Pacelli on Feb. 20.
