The Austin boys hockey team started fast as it beat Rochester John Marshall(4-17-1 overall, 1-12-1 Big Nine) 7-3 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Tyler Hoban finished with four goals for the Packers (6-15 overall, 5-11 Big Nine) as he had a hat trick in the third period alone – scoring three goals in a 14-minute stretch.
Bubba Grunewald, Hunter Guyette and Kaleb Ree also scored for the Packers, who had 38 shots on goal.

Ryan Flanders topped 31 of the 33 shots he saw and Andrew Schumacher had two saves on three shots faced.
