Dalton W. Hanson, 26, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away at his home on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019.

Dalton William was born July 21, 1992, in Kissimmee, Florida, the son of Ronald and Gail (Vinnes) Hanson. The family moved to Austin in 1996. Dalton attended Austin Public Schools and eventually earned his GED. One of his favorite pastimes was gaming. Most recently, Dalton was employed at Game Stop in Austin.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Vinnes; paternal grandmother, Winnifred Hanson; step-grandparents, Kenneth and Frances Nash; and step-uncle, Ricky Nash.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Gail (Randy) Nash of Austin; father, Ronald Hanson of Austin; sister, Emilee (Jake) Levisen of Austin; maternal grandmother, Nancy Vinnes of Arkansas; paternal grandfather, Duane Hanson of Austin; step-grandmother, Rosella Nash of Mapleview, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends; and by his significant other, Sondra Kasel.

A memorial gathering celebrating Dalton’s life will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at Cornerstone Church in Austin.
