Alumni Update: Austin grad Overby sets records at UND

Austin grad Madison Overby anchored a record setting relay team and she broke a record of her own for the University of North Dakota track and field team at the South Dakota State University Indoor Classic recently.
Overby was the anchor for the UND 4 x 800-meter relay team that set a new school record with a first place time of 9:14.18 and she also set a UND record in the 3,000-meter run as she took first place with a time of 9:42.58.
Austin grad Pat Hagan took third place in the weight throw for the University of Sioux Falls with a distance of 16.48 meters at the St. John’s Invite recently.

BASKETBALL
Austin grad Both Gach had seven points, three rebounds and five assists for Utah as the Utes (13-10 overall) beat UCLA 93-92 on Feb. 9.
Austin grad Duoth Gach had 20 points on 7-for-13 shooting for North Dakota State College of Science in a 95-70 win over Miles Community College recently.
Austin grad Oman Oman had two points in the win over Miles for the Wildcats (22-4 overall).
Austin grad Gach Gach had 10 points, five assists and two steals for West Texas A & M (22-3 overall) as the Buffs beat Texas Pemrain Basin 105-82 recently.
Blooming Prairie grad Taylor Hagen had two points for the University of Northern Iowa (15-8 overall) in a 64-56 win over Valparaiso recently.
Lyle grad Kristi Fett had three points and two rebounds for Minnesota State University (11-11 overall) in a 75-64 win over Bemidji State recently.
