Pacelli’s production —”Ticket, Please” —includes a cast of five: Myra Kraemer, Edward Dreyer, Mason Holtorf, Kayla Christopherson, and Abigail Bollingberg. Marissa McConnell is set crew, music, and lights. All of Pacelli’s cast and crew are seniors. The play is written and directed by Tim Brennan.

The storyline concerns a group of people in a waiting room-type atmosphere. There are chairs; there is a door. No one seems to be clear about the purpose of their arrival, no one seems to be clear about their departure, either. They all have a ticket, and most of their time is spent debating various reasons for both. The play addresses questions we all ask ourselves at different times in our lives.

Pacelli presented the play a 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, for the school body in the school’s auditorium. This follows a Jan. 19 performance at the Southeast Conference One Act Festival held in Grand Meadow, as well as a Family & Friends performance Wednesday evening.

Pacelli theater students work hard, study hard, practice hard and dramatics continues to be a valued part of Pacelli’s extracurricular offerings through fall and spring productions, as well as the upcoming MSHSL one act competition. Pacelli’s stage area and auditorium offers comfortable seating, great acoustics and easy sight lines.
