Austin Police Department’s fall Citizen Academy a resounding success!

I was able to participate this fall in the Citizen Academy and it was a wonderful experience. We were able to learn all different aspects of the department from a tour of the police station to going to the range, to learning about narcotics, the K9 unit, diversity, and all the police and the staff are responsible for and do. I highly recommend participating in this. It was time very well spent. Thank you to Chief Brian Krueger and his staff. Job well done. I also appreciate the fiscal responsibility they showed providing us with snacks from a discount grocery.
