The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team was edged out by Houston (4-7 overall) in a 74-72 overtime loss on the road Monday.
Karson Vigeland scored 20 points to lead BP.
“We were out of sync from start to finish. Our defense was just not good,” BP head coach Nate Miller said. “We were consistently beaten in transition and never looked sound. We didn’t rebound well. I have no explanation for why we couldn’t play well. We looked timid. Lack of communication on defense and slow to rotate. It’s disappointing.”
BP (9-3 overall) has now two of its last three games.
BP 27 37 8 — 72
Houston 33 31 10 — 74
BP scoring: Karson Vigeland, 20; Kaden Thomas, 16; Gabe Hagen, 12; Trent Swenson, 8; Isaac Ille, 7; Zach Weber, 4; Parker Vaith, 3; Zach Archer, 2; free throws: 60 percent (6-for-10)
