Weather: Austin area looking to catch only the edge

As of Tuesday, Austin was expected to ride the edge of the system that could mean more  of a precipitation mix with a possiblity of 1 to 2 inches of snow Thursday.  —ADH

•Snow and sleet before midnight, then sleet, possibly mixed with freezing rain between midnight and 2 a.m., then rain after 2 a.m. Low around 31. Southeast wind 13 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
