Next year’s Plunging for Pink, one of the major events of the annual Paint the Town Pink Festival, will be held on Jan. 26 at East Side Lake and organizers are hoping to make it bigger and better.

Registration the day of the plunge will start at 11:30 a.m. and participants are urged to show up early. The plunge itself will start at 12:30 p.m.

After the plunge, the celebration moves to The Eagles starting at 3:30 p.m. and will include dinner, silent auction and live music.

Those participating are asked to raise a minimum of $50. Over the past five years Plunging for Pink has raised more than $300,000.
