The Austin girls hockey team team wrapped up the weekend with a 9-3 loss to Faribault in the Annual Winter Classic Tournament at Riverside Arena.

Austin (4-10-1 overall) finished third in the tournament and Faribault took first place.

The Packers did take home some other hardware in the Friday Skills Competition. Lily Holtz, who had four assists in the tournament, won the Top Shooter award scoring on 6-of-7 breakaways. Also finishing in the top-five were Erin Bickler, who had three assists in the tournament, and Hannah McMasters, who had a goal and an assist.

Jaiden Schuster finished with five goals and an assist.

Mikayla Pahl of Rochester Mayo, which took third, won the top goalie award saving 28 of 31 shots. Finishing in second was Mikayla Bohner of Faribault and in third place was Faith Sayles from Austin.
