Hayfield boys take down Medford

The Hayfield boys basketball knocked down 10-three pointers as it cruised past Medford (0-3 overall, 0-2 Gopher) 78-52 in Hayfield Tuesday.
Eighth grader Isaac Matti scored a career-high 16 points for the Vikings (4-1 overall, 2-0 Gopher) and Mason Tapp surpassed 20 points for the fifth straight game as he finished with 23 points.
“Isaac is physically able to play at this level and he’s just getting his feet wet now,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “He brings a lot of skill. He’s a great passer and he can knock down shots.”
