Gail Yvonne Hofius, 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters and husband, on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus-Rochester.

Gail was born June 7, 1955, in Placerville, California. Gail’s favorite things included spending time with her family, seeing new places, camping, Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll music, the ocean, cooking and gardening.

Gail is survived by her husband, Jeff Hofius of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota; her kids, Yvonne (David) Subbert of Hayfield, Minnesota, Summer Bornhoft of Austin, Minnesota, Chanel (Mike) Bornhoft of Austin, Trisha Bauer of Austin, and Cody Hofius or Oroville, California; 12 grandkids; and her beloved dogs.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the Blooming Prairie Senior Center in Blooming Prairie.
