Trent Bates, 52, passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.

He is survived by his sister, Tonia Boyd; niece, Samantha LeBarron; stepmother, Bettie Bates; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bates; father, Terry Bates; and his grandparents.

Service: A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at Lighthouse of Hope, 2909 Oakland Ave. W, Austin, MN 55912, with Richard Chinander officiating.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Lighthouse of Hope.
