Austin Daily Herald Dec. 5 papers to be delivered Thursday

In honor of the passing of former President George H.W. Bush, all federal government office buildings will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The closures come from an executive order signed by President Donald Trump, who declared Dec. 5 a National Day of Mourning for the late former president.

Because the U.S Postal Service will be closed, subscribers who receive the Austin Daily Herald by mail carrier will not receive a Wednesday, Dec. 5, paper until Thursday, Dec. 6.

Wednesday newspapers will still be available for purchase at single-copy locations on Wednesday.
