The Austin City Council recognized city personnel that retired in 2018 during its regular meeting Monday evening.

Those in attendance at the meeting were given a plaque by Mayor Tom Stiehm and were thanked and congratulated by each member of the council.

Those retirees honored were:

• Orlando (Lanny) Bastianson – Dec. 13, 1993, to Feb. 18, 2010, and Jan. 3, 2012, to April 30, 2018

• Bob Bastyr – Nov. 2, 1992, to Dec. 31, 2018

• Mark Haider – Nov. 20, 1984, to June 7, 2018

• Kathy Helle – May 27, 1986, to July 7, 2018

• Mike Pratt – Aug. 21, 1990, to March 30, 2018

• Steve Scott – July 1, 1981, to Jan. 31, 2018

• Jeanne Wilkinson – March 16, 1998, to Nov. 8, 2018
