The LeRoy-Ostrander girls basketball team beat Schaeffer Academy (2-8 overall, 0-5 SEC) 63-45 in LeRoy Thursday.

Lauren Helgeson poured in 20 points and nine steals for the Cardinals (3-5 overall, 1-4 SEC) and Haley Hungerholt, who was facing a box and one, had 10 points, five assists and three steals.
