Bruins slide into first place tie with Minot

The Austin Bruins completed a weekend home sweep over the Minot Minotauros when they won 4-3 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Devon Fields scored the go-ahead goal for Austin (15-6-0-3 overall) with just 20 seconds left in the second period. Joseph Winkelmann had two goals and one assist for Austin.

Brett Miller stopped 23 of 26 shots, including all nine of the shots he faced in the third period, to pick up the win in net.

The win puts Austin in a first place tie in the NAHL Central Division with Minot (16-8-1-0 overall). as both teams have 33 points. Aberdeen is in third with 32 points.
