Brittney Earline Anderley, 30, of Austin was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly throwing a beer glass at someone at an Austin bar.
According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers were called about a fight at 12:33 a.m. on Saturday at The Bakery Lounge. A witness told police Anderley was using profane language and yelling at the victim, a 29-year-old Austin woman. The witness said the victim was minding her own business when Anderley allegedly threw a beer glass at her, striking her in the head and causing a gash along her hairline. The victim declined medical assistance from Gold Cross Ambulance Service.
The bouncer told police he was alerted of a fight and that he witnessed Anderley throw the glass, according to Krueger. He said he escorted Anderley out of the bar and said she was wearing a green Minnesota Wild sweatshirt.
An officer found Anderley, who appeared to be intoxicated, on the sidewalk in front of Dusty’s Bar and Lounge and arrested her, Krueger said.
Anderley is in the Mower County Jail facing a possible charge of felony second-degree assault.
