Margaret E. Qvale, 96, of Eagan, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018.

She is survived by her children, Jack (Patsy), Robert (Marg), Louise (Mark) Jacobson and Barbara (John) Freeman; grandchildren, Matt (Laura), Dan, Megan (Dan) Stepaniak, Jon Jacobson, Carl (Sarah) Jacobson, Bryan (Alicia) Freeman, Tom Freeman and Erik; great-grandchildren, Vada, Liam, Everett, Grace, Ellen, Benny, Kate, Anika, Isla and Judah; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sigvald; daughter, Susan Johnson; an infant grandchild; parents, John and Anna Mortenson; and brother and sister-in-law, Leland (Barbara) Olson.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at American Legion Post 435, 6501 Portland Ave., Richfield, MN. Interment will be at Fort Snelling. Memorials are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project or donor’s choice.
