Alumni Update: Gach continues hot start at West Texas A & M

Austin grad Gach Gach had 15 points as he went 4-for-8 on three-pointers for West Texas A & M in a 94-49 win over Science & Arts on Nov. 17.

Gach added four rebounds in the win for the Buffs (6-1 overall).

Austin grad Tate Hebrink continues to play in the starting lineup at UW-River Falls as he had five points and two rebounds in a 104-68 win over Colorado College on Nov. 17.

Austin grad Duoth Gach had nine points and four rebounds and Austin grad Oman Oman poured in 18 points with four rebounds and three assists as North Dakota State College of Science (5-1 overall) beat University of Jamestown JV 87-75.

Blooming Prairie grad Taylor Hagen had four points and a rebound as the University of Northern Iowa women’s basketball team beat Creighton University 65-55 on Nov. 20.

Grand Meadow grad Rio Landers had seven points and six rebounds for the University of Northwestern in a 57-50 loss to Macalester No. 20.

Landers has started all five games and averaged 10.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for UNW (1-4 overall).

Pacelli grad Sarah Holtz had 17 points, three rebounds and two assists for Luther College as the Norse beat UW-Stevens Point 72-69 on Nov. 17.

Lyle grad Kristi Fett had six rebounds and two blocked shots for Minnesota State University in a 72-68  overtime win over Michigan Tech on Nov. 18.

Fett is averaging 5.7 points per game for the Mavericks (2-1 overall).

HOCKEY

Blooming Prairie grad Elly Strunk has played in two games this season with Gustavus (5-1-1 overall).
