Jerry Bugge, 76

Jerry Bugge, 76, of Faribault, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Jerry was born on June 27, 1942, in Austin, Minnesota, to Erving and Marge Bugge. He graduated from Austin High School in 1960. After graduation, he moved to California and managed a chain of fast food restaurants in the Oakland, California, area. In the early 70s, he moved to Faribault and managed Mealy’s Restaurant. He was also employed at Crown Cork and Seal and Cabela’s.

Jerry was an avid fisherman and loved to do tournaments with Bernie. He never missed a Viscomi hockey game ever. He loved his dog, Daisy. He had great respect for Native American culture. He was always up for a game of bags. He was the first to offer help and the last to ever complain. He will truly be missed as a friend, father, brother, and grandpa. God bless you Jerry; you are always in our hearts.
