Austin Bruins defenseman Dylan Davies has committed to Division I Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Davies, a fourth-round draft selection of the Bruins this past summer, competed with the United States U17 National Development team before joining the Bruins. The Michigan native was also named to the NHL Central Scouting Prospects to Watch in October.

“Everything about the school felt right,” said Davies in a press release. “The coaches, facilities, academics, the [hockey] program, and the tradition, all led me to choose [R.P.I.]”
