The No. 1 seeded Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms made short work of Kingsland Tuesday night, winning 53-20 in the first round of the Section 1A Tournament in Blooming Prairie.

The Awesome Blossoms piled on the scores early, opening with a 41-0 lead after the first quarter. They ended the game with 323 yards of total offense.

Kaden Thomas was under center going 8-for-11 with 119 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Matthew Pryor had six carries for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
