The Hayfield volleyball team took second place in its eight-team home invite after it lost to Alden-Conger 21-25, 25-14, 15-8 in the title match Hayfield Saturday.

Elecia Brown racked up 32 kills in the tournament for the Vikings (3-4 overall).

Blooming Prairie take fourth in the invite, Lyle-Pacelli took sixth and LeRoy-Ostrander took eighth.
