The Lyle-Pacelli football team got off to a fast start, but it couldn’t hold on against Spring Grove (2-0 overall) in a 62-16 loss on the road Friday.

Jed Nelson converted a 74 yard run and he hit Tyson Anderson for a two-point conversion to put LP (0-2 overall) up 8-7 with 4:38 left in the first quarter.

The Lions went on to score the 49 points of the game as Alex Folz ran for scores of 1, 72, 25 and 11 yards.
