Pair of motorcycles stolen Sunday

A pair of motocross-style motorcycles were stolen from a southeast Austin home sometime Sunday morning.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, the motorcycles were reportedly stolen between 1 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning from a garage in the 2000 block of Seventh Avenue Southeast.

Police responded to the scene at around 10:47 a.m. Sunday morning. According to Krueger, the thief or thieves gained entrance by cutting the screen out of a window.

The motorcycles stolen included a 2011 Honda 450, valued at approximately $3,000, and a Yamaha TTR 110, valued at around $1,500.

There are no suspects and the case has been forwarded to detectives.
