The Austin Bruins picked up a 2-1 win over the Lone Star Brahmas in a shootout in the NAHL Showcase in Blaine Thursday.

Austin goalie Brett Miller stopped 13 of the 14 shots he saw in the game and he also stopped the Brahmas on all three of their shootout attempts.

Dante Zapata scored the lone goal of the shootout to win the game for Austin (2-0 overall).
