Jeanette Alice (Chrz) Truelson, 71, passed away at her home in Kasson, Minnesota, on Sept. 5, 2018.
Jeanette was born on April 9, 1947, in Freeborn County, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Kycek) Chrz. She was united in marriage to Paul Truelson on Oct. 16, 1966, in Oakland, Minnesota.
Jeanette was employed by Mayo Clinic for 27 years. The light of her life were her two grandchildren, Tyler and Paige Truelson. In lieu of flowers, donations made to her two grandchildren are much appreciated.
Family was very important to Jeanette. She also enjoyed being with her many loving friends, especially dear friends Patty Adams and Linda Rappe, going fishing up north and also donating to casinos. Her legacy is her enthusiasm for life and unconditional love for all those her life has touched.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Brian Truelson (wife, Patty); two grandchildren, Tyler Truelson and Paige Truelson; siblings, Franklin Chrz, Mary (Chrz) Ernst, Johnny Chrz, Mark Chrz and their spouses; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Paul Truelson; parents, Frank and Alice (Kycek) Chrz; and brother, Eugene Chrz.
The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 801 Seventh St. SE in Kasson, with the Rev. Nirmala Reinschmidt officiating. Visitation will be for one hour before the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Glenville, Minnesota.
