Boys soccer: Packers snap their skid

The Austin boys soccer team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-0 win over Mankato West (2-6 overall, 1-4 Big Nine) on the road Thursday.
The game was scoreless at the half, but Austin (4-2 overall, 3-1 Big Nine) found its offense in the final 28 minutes of the game.
Monday Wah scored off an assist from Kevin Ortiz to make it 1-0 with 27:30 left in the game, Julio Hernandez scored to put Austin up 2-0 with 10 minutes left and Ortiz scored to make it 3-0 Austin with eight minutes left.
Daniel Vargas knocked in a header to give Austin a four-goal lead with one minute left in the contest.
