The Austin girls tennis team opened its season with a pair of close losses in the Mankato West Invite Tuesday.

The Packers lost to Mankato West 4-3 and they fell to Winona 4-3.

Austin senior Ivy Arnold went 1-1 at No. 2 singles for Austin (0-2 overall, 0-2 Big Nine).
